Our first Garden School class will be Fruit Tree Pruning & Grafting, taught by John Wilson! On Saturday, March 11th, 11am-Noon, participants will learn the basic principles of pruning fruit trees in this hands-on workshop. Weather permitting, John will also demonstrate how to graft onto existing trees using spring grafting techniques. These methods are ideal for urban gardeners who want to cultivate a greater variety of fruit and improve tree production while saving valuable space. 🌳
